Before Endodontic Treatment

Endodontic procedures will be performed using local anesthesia. There are usually no restrictions after the procedure concerning driving or returning to work. Dr. Kerr is available for consultation at all times should a problem arise after your treatment.

Continue all medications for blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems and any other conditions as recommended by your physician. No fasting is necessary prior to your endodontic care. Please eat all meals as you normally would prior to your appointment time

IMPORTANT  Pre-Medication Patients:

If you have been advised by your physician to use antibiotics because of mitral valve prolapse (MVP), heart murmur, or other cardiac condition, hip, knee, or other prosthesis replacement, and lastly if you have a history of rheumatic fever, please make sure you are on the appropriate antibiotic pre-medication on the day of your appointment. This medication should be taken 1 hour prior to your scheduled appointment time.
